International Pageant is the
largest pageant system in the

promotion for Hawaiian Tropic
Suncare Products. Each year
over 20,000 young ladies
compete in
Nationwide Preliminary
Pageants which take place
in water parks, stadiums,
night clubs, etc., all over
the world. If you have won
your state finals the next
level is the
Miss Hawaiian Tropic
International United States
Finals which takes place
in the fall and sends 4 lucky
winners to the
Miss Hawaiian Tropic
International Pageant the
following spring. Here
beautiful contestants from all
over the world compete for the
title of Miss Hawaiian Tropic
International and a share in
over $100,000.00 in trips,
prizes and modeling contracts
from Hawaiian Tropic and its
national sponsors.

How do I become a Hawaiian
Tropic Model?
To become a model for Hawaiian
Tropic, you must first compete
in any of the Miss Hawaiian
Tropic International pageants
or preliminary pageants which
are held in water parks,
stadiums, night clubs, etc.,
all across the United States
and in countries all over the
world. You can also compete
online by August 15, 2004 at
iMatchup, the official dating
site of the Miss Hawaiian
Tropic International Pageant.

United States Finals are held
in September each year with
the four finalists going on to
compete in the Miss Hawaiian
Tropic International Pageant
Finals taking place in the
spring.

Is there an age limit to enter
the pageants?
The Miss Hawaiian Tropic
International, (MHTI), Pageant
System does not have upper age
limitations, however, the
minimum age for contestants is
16. Parental permission is
required for minors.
Preliminary pageant locations
may have varying age
requirements due to legal age
restrictions which limit
access to nightclubs or
lounges.

Do I have to be single to
compete?
MHTI pageants are not limited
to single women. Contestants
may be married and may have
children.

Can I compete more than once in
the same pageant?
Yes! A contestant is not
limited to entering one Miss
Hawaiian Tropic Pageant. She
may enter as many times as she
chooses until winning a title
that allows her to compete in
either the United States or
International Pageant Finals.
Only those who hold the title
of ”Miss Hawaiian Tropic
International”, past and
present, are ineligible to
compete again.

Can I compete in pageants in
other areas or states?
Yes! A contestant is not in
any way limited to the number
of pageants she chooses to
enter. Many contestants enter
preliminary pageants while on
vacation,
Spring Break from college
or holiday breaks.

On what basis are contestants
judged?
Contestants are judged based
on overall beauty of face,
beauty of figure and
projection of personality.

Can I get a video of a pageant,
phone number or name of a
contestant or pictures of
contestants?
NO,! We do not share
contestant’s personal
information or sell photos or
videos of the pageants. The
Miss Hawaiian Tropic
International United States
Finals and the Miss Hawaiian
Tropic International Pageant
are broadcast nationally in
the spring/summer of each
year.
